Replacement of a MacPro Logic Board (Pictures)

Had my MacPro repaired. They did as an “home service” under Apple Care. I was able to take some pictures. Thought some of you may want to see what the inside of a stripped MacPro looks like. All is well now and I’m back to 100%. Intersting that all that work had to be done […]

    amazing! thanks for posting the pics. I think my C-section to have my son wasn't nearly as complicated! (That's saying something!)

    It still amazes me how much spare room you get inside a computer box, well done Victor. You are no "Typical user", but then I'd do the same so maybe you are.! :-)

    Well I had Apple Care and mine broke under warranty, so I don't know how you can get one but if it's broken and has Apple Care Call Apple :)

    Phil this was an Apple certified person and it took hime almost 2.5 hours. Not an easy job for sure. I'd imagine the replacement board is about 1200 bucks US.

    I have no idea where to buy one in Europe. i'd have it done by an Apple certified dealer there if I were you.
