  • Hi from RetroMacCast! Great job sharing the retro Mac love Kathy!
  • I'm glad that we were able to share the retromac and retromaccast information with all the listeners. I hope many of them subscribe to your show and dig further into this great way to be a Mac Geek.
  • Great episode on retro Macs there, Victor! RetroMacCast has been on my podcasts subscriptions for a while now and is right on par with TMUP on my list. I have my Quadra 650 that I use as a web server, and there are many others that are doing the same with their retro Macs as well. You can find them all on the Old Apple Web Server Directory which can be found at the following link:

There, you'll find a plethora of retro Macs (and even some Apple IIs, Lisas, and some Newtons) chugging along as web servers. There was even an article over at Royal Pingdom that talked about these old Mac servers which made its way onto Digg (my Quadra 650 was listed there as well). The link to the article is below:

Oh, and don't forget another good site for retro Mac information: Jag's House.

Props to Kathy for her awesome work in the interview. It was great hearing her experiences with retro Macs and how she uses them extensively on a daily basis.
  • Thanks and great links.
  • Hi Victor,

Thanks! You make me realize that it is possible to buy a cheap old mac that will make the job.
    Good point!

    Regards
